About Me

I’m 26 and live in Manhattan.
I wouldn’t call myself an expert or a guru…just someone interested in staying healthy, looking good and feeling great.
I avoid severe diets and ultra regimented workout routines – the important thing for me is to listen to my body and its cravings, both the healthy and unhealthy ones. Everything is in moderation and I spend little time feeling guilty about what I eat or pass up – I like to have it all, and recognize with some extra work, a little less sleep and tons of positive energy, it’s certainly possible. Because my days are ever changing and things unexpectedly come up, I keep my eating and exercise habits ultra flexible.
Living and working in Manhattan makes it possible to get more done by 10am than I think most people can achieve by 10pm – I’ve learned to maximize my time and more importantly, my energy. Since I’m not a fitness consultant or any kind of time management expert, I learn by trial and error. Experimenting with different foods, ideas and tricks makes it easy to tailor my life to exactly what works best for ME.
On The Fit Post I write about my favorite recipes, workouts, fitness products and classes – plus anything else I pick up from living in New York, to help my readers experience a healthier more balanced life.
